Terms and Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions of Registration and Use outline your responsibility related to registering for and using your Canada Apprentice Loan Service Centre (CALSC) Online Services account. If Canada Apprentice Loan funding is never disbursed to you as result of an application submitted to the CALSC following registration, you acknowledge that you will retain access to your account and that it is your responsibility to request that your account is cancelled by contacting the CALSC.

  2. The CALSC Online Services is administered by the CALSC on behalf of the Minister of Employment and Social Development (“Canada”).

  3. The CALSC Online Service allows you to apply for Canada Apprentice Loan funding electronically and review and update information in your account. You understand and accept that registration for and use of the CALSC Online Services is voluntary and you may use other channels to apply for and administer Canada Apprentice Loan funding with the CALSC.

  4. You provide your acknowledgment and consent that Canada may collect, use and retain your personal information that you provide for registration. Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of creating and administering your CALSC Online Services account and will not be exchanged with or disclosed to any other party. This collection, use and retention will be undertaken as required and in compliance with the Privacy Act, and Part 4 of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act.

  5. You certify that all information provided for the purpose of registration is accurate and complete.

  6. If you click “Cancel” and do not submit your request for registration any information that you have entered will not be collected, used or retained.

  7. As a CALSC Online Services user:

       (a)  You are responsible for clearing the cache and closing and reopening your browser after signing out of your CALSC Online Services account. This will ensure that personal information about your transactions will not be saved on your computer’s hard drive. You should clear your disk cache and delete your temporary Internet files before closing and reopening your browser. For instructions on how to do this complete an internet search for "how to clear cache in [insert your browser name here]"

       (b)  The CALSC Online Services uses 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your information and the security of your user sessions. You must use a browser that supports 128-bit encryption and is JavaScript-Enabled.
